This year, EWC’s Masterclass will feature Jon Bockelmann-Evans, an inspirational speaker and an expert on wellbeing, emotional health, and managing life’s challenges. Taking place online on 13 May, 16:00-17:00, the event will introduce simple, memorable, and highly practical techniques (including therapeutic laughter and breathwork), that can be used in the moment to regulate the nervous system and boost mood.
This session is designed to be a transformative, practical, and uplifting experience. It will move beyond traditional stress management to give registrants the understanding and tools to actively cultivate joy and resilience.
Jon Bockelmann-Evans has run over 1,000 training courses and presented keynotes at more than 100 conferences to in excess of 40,000 delegates in the UK, Europe, and the US. His previous clients include Nike, Dow, Merck, EE, hundreds of schools in the UK, SMEs, businesses, and many public sector organisations.
Jon’s work is informed by his knowledge of physiology, psychology, and personal development, as well as his clinical experience as a physiotherapist, psychotherapist, and workplace mediator.
This session will present immediately usable strategies to manage stress, increase energy, and invite moments of joy during the workday. Jon will also share a clear model of emotional health as the foundation for sustainable wellbeing, and introduce new perspectives, shifting mindset from wellbeing as another task, to wellbeing as integrated, accessible moments. He will also share his ‘Wellbeing in Minutes’ toolkit, which is a live, guided practice of accessible techniques threaded throughout the hour.
