The Education Workforce Council (EWC) are recruiting lay panel members to its fitness to practise casework. If you are looking for a role that is both rewarding and challenging, which presents a great opportunity for personal development, then the EWC would like to hear from you.

The EWC has an important role in maintaining standards of professional conduct and practice, and safeguarding the interests of learners, parents/guardians and the public. Part of that role is to investigate and consider cases that may call into question a registrant’s fitness to practise.

Panel members are vital to this work, providing excellent professional input into this key area of the EWC’s statutory responsibility.

The EWC are seeking additional lay members to join the existing panel.
