At the end of the NQTs induction period

The AB will make the final decision as to whether the NQT has passed, failed, or requires an extension to their induction period based upon the information/evidence recorded in the induction profile. The AB will notify us of their decision, the timescales for which are set out in Welsh Government guidance.

On a termly basis, we will contact the AB formally requesting the submission of induction results. However, the AB can also submit induction results at any time via their online access.

Within 25 working days of submission of an induction result, we will update the NQTs record on the Register of Education Practitioner with the outcome of induction. If the NQT has passed induction, an induction certificate will be issued to the NQT which will be available in their MyEWC account.
